Our church office will be closed on Monday in commenoration of MLK Jr. holiday. Loaves & Fishes will not be serving a meal on Monday, but will resume meal service on Tuesday.

Theology Pub is a quarterly group that ets together to read a book about God, a theological topic, or something about how we do faith together as a community. The next Theology Pub is coming up on Sunday, February 12, 4:00p. The book for January is “Life Together” by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Our Spring semester of life groups will begin on February 9, 2025. We will start registration for our groups on January 12. Check here in two weeks for a catalog of all the groups being offered.

On Christmas morning, join us for a worship service celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Join us on Christmas Eve for a beautiful worship service. We will celebrate the birth of Jesus through scripture, carols and candlelight.

Jingle Jam is a fun event where a family can enjoy time together being silly, playing games, and celebrating the Christmas season together. We will have dinner together. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend with you. Sign up below to attend Jingle Jam.

Through a new partnership between the Vineyard and Seminary Now, RHV has access to 90+ free online seminary courses.

These will be easier than you'd think, and anyone at RHV could benefit from this. The instructors include some world class people that I have admired for a long time (Ruth Haley Barton, Dominique Gilliard, Soong-Chan Rah, and Esau McCaulley, among others). There is one optional quiz per course, and no assigned writing. Courses can optionally be taken for credit for a fee, and with more homework.

We would like to start a learning community of RHV learners. We'll take courses together (at a slow pace), and meet to discuss them with each other. We'll choose courses by nominating and voting on them as a group.

We'll have an interest meeting on Sunday, December 8, after second service. We'll serve pizza. I hope you will come!

Shop gift baskets and hand-crafted cards to support River Heights Vineyard Youth Group. Donations go towards scholarships to youth events, discipleship meetings, and snacks for Wednesday nights. The cards and gifts will be available after each service.

At Holy Spirit Night, we make space for three of the best ways to experience God: Worship, Prayer, and Community. We will have a time of extended worship music, a short talk, and an opportunity to pray, then go to a local restaurant. We hope you can join us.

Have you been baptized? Would you like to learn more about baptism? Baptism 101 is a one session class that prepares you to be baptized at RHV. The class will help you understand the purpose of baptism, how to prepare for baptism, and how this act of obedience helps you follow Jesus. If you would like to be baptized at our Fall Baptism on November 10, this class is FOR YOU! We will offer the class on Sunday, October 6 OR 20 at 10:30a (during 2nd service). Register below.

In partnership with the Inver Grove Heights Cub Foods, our church will be hosting a Flu Shot Clinic on Sunday, October 6 from 9:30a-12:00p in the Fireside Lounge. There is no cost to get your flu shot and no appointment is needed. No insurance is necessary, but please bring your insurance card if you have one. Anyone 6 years of age and older is welcome to receive the flu shot at this event.

Alpha is for anyone. Some join because they want to move beyond religion and find a relationship with God. Others come for the long-lasting friendships built during an Alpha course. Some have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally or regularly but feel they’ve never understood the basics of Christian faith, or simply long to articulate why they believe what they believe. Others are new to following Jesus and are looking to establish a firm foundation for growth. Everyone is welcome!

Life Groups are the best way to get connected at River Heights Vineyard. Our next semester of Life Groups will kick off on Sunday, September 22.
